UK A word from sally

Welcome to all, welcome to Chante Oiseau, by Sally, a new home for everyone.

Enjoy, relax and feel at home. You’re on holiday. – take it easy. Follow me on a visit through the grounds.

On the right is the office where we offer all kinds of tips for visits, restaurants and walks throughout your stay. The display of local products will give you ideas for your stay and presents to take home.

In the courtyard, on your left is the Mas du lac, overlooking the small lake with singing frogs and ducks. A stone bridge takes us over the stream up to the Collines, an independent house with large grounds. Hiding further away is the “New Cabanon”. Live as the local farmers with no direct water or electricity! Back in the courtyard, is the Grand Mas on the right facing the apple, quince, cherry and plum orchard; the Mas Principal, breakfast room and tourist information centre and the large communal terrace…

Hiding on the left in the walnut and bay leaf trees is the Mas de la Source. Up the steps and on the right is the Giono with its two covered terraces one for the mornings and another with a view of the gardens for the evening aperitifs. Going further is the Potager overlooking the wooden bridge, stream and the vegetable gardens full of old fashioned tomatoes and local produce. If you have a childhood dream of sleeping in a tree house, take a look at the Cabane hiding in the oak trees above the stream…

Passing by the horse’s paddock, and in the centre of the hamlet, the old stables and chicken run have been adapted to offer two charming studios with private gardens.

Last but not least, you come to the swimming pool, children’s play area and the boule ground, ready to relax, with a local Pastis with family and friends in total security. What more could you ask for with a view of the Lure mountain, the Alpes, and the Ganagobie and Valensole viewpoints ?

Aloa, and the horses not to mention the new donkey “ Gribouille” and the “petit chat” are part of the welcome committee, we all hope to see you soon….
